Hummus.

Life is so much better with hummus! I put it on everything! Toast, salads, dal, with veggie sticks… So much!!

Bought hummus contains unnecessary ingredients such as canola oil, preservatives and other additives... things your gut and your body don’t like.


The best thing you can do is make this really quick, easy and delicious hummus instead of buying it!! Your body will be so much happier!




 

RECIPE


Ingredients

- 1 tin chickpeas

- 1/3 cup water

- 1/4 cup tahini

- 1 garlic clove

- The juice of 1/2 lemon

- Salt & pepper


Method

- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender & blitz until smooth. You will probably need to stop & move the mix about a few times to get it really smooth.

- Taste & adjust with more water, salt, pepper or lemon as needed.

- Transfer to a glass container & keep in the fridge.


Option: Use butter or cannellini beans or a mix of them all! Cannellini beans make extra creamy hummus ;)
