Digest Organic Tea | 40 serves

Support digestion, soothe bloating & ease an upset tummy.

Support your body's digestive process with our Digest tea. This blend has been designed to relieve an upset tummy and soothe any bloating which may occur after a meal. Digest has a refreshing flavour that is perfect after eating or at the end of the day to help support a more restful sleep.

Digestive disturbances are very common with many people having trouble digesting certain foods. To improve your digestion include bitter foods into your diet which include green and purple leafy vegetables such as rocket and raddicchio. Adding a fresh salad as a side to your meal with a light splash of apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil will be sure to help you digest your food better.

Please note: Digest contains Peppermint which is not recommended for those with reflux. If this is you, we can create a personalised blend that does not contain peppermint. Send an email through to hello@wholenaturalhealth.com.au.

Organic Tea by Whole Natural Health uses the highest grade naturopathic herbs to ensure optimal therapeutic actions with an enjoyable taste.

Digest Organic Tea includes the following:

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

A common culinary spice & Mediterranean salad addition, fennel is also known to be a wonder for soothing tummy upset & bloating by relaxing the smooth muscles of the digestive system & having an anti-inflammatory effect.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita)

A refreshing herb used to calm bloating & tummy upset by relaxing the smooth muscle of the digestive system. The same active constituent within peppermint may also relieve nausea. Menthol within peppermint can also inhibit mucous production. A refreshing & uplifting flavour addition to tea.

Avoid peppermint with reflux symptoms as the relaxing effect of peppermint may also relax the muscle between the stomach & oesophagus to exacerbate symptoms.

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis)

Lemon balm, commonly found in herb gardens, is known to have a calming effect on the nervous system whilst also soothing an upset stomach. Also known as Melissa, lemon balm brings a fresh lemon flavour to tea.

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

A favourite for many, chamomile is popular for its calming effects but is equally as effective as a digestive herb due to its antispasmodic & soothing actions on the digestive system.

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora)

A native to Australia, Lemon Myrtle has been used for thousands of years by indigenous Australians to add flavour to food & also as bush medicine to treat cold symptoms & stomach upset.
