A lightly sweet & gently spiced dandelion blend. Similar to a chai tea but caffeine free and lighter in spice. Dandelion tea is traditionally used to support the digestive system, in particular the liver and gall bladder.

 

Dandy is perfect as a caffeine free alternative for coffee due to the roasted flavour. Choose Dandy when you wind down for the night to support digestion after dinner with a warming brew & a touch of sweetness.

Please note... Dandy contains ingredients which are roots and barks and are a heavier tea than leaves and flowers. This means it may seem as though there is less tea in your tea cylinder when compared to other tea in our range when in fact Dandy contains 100g of tea when most other teas contain 80g. This also means that less tea is required for your brew. Use 1 tsp for a regular cup or 2 tsp for a stronger brew.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis)

Dandelion is a favourable swap for coffee due to its roasted flavour but is also a wonder for the digestive system with gentle liver & gall-bladder stimulation & an anti-inflammatory action.

 

Chicory (Cichorium intybus)

A lightly bitter herb commonly used to enhance digestion via liver & gall bladder stimulation.

 

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon is known to help regulate blood sugar levels whilst also stimulating digestion & calming an upset stomach. Cinnamon also warms the body & adds a gentle sweetness to tea.

 

Ginger (Zingiber officinalis)

Ginger is known to have many positive effects on the body including relieving nausea & spasmodic pain as well as being anti-inflammatory, protective of the liver, soothing for an upset tummy & stimulating for circulation via its warming effect on the body. Ginger is sweet & lightly spicy.

  • Dandelion root, chicory, cinnamon, ginger.

  • Brew 1 tsp for a regular cup or 2 tsp for a stronger brew of recently boiled water for 3-5 minutes. Strain & top with your favourite milk.

    Or... heat on the stove with your favourite milk. Strain and enjoy.

    Optional: add raw honey for extra sweetness.
